on remembering our heritage

George, On one hand, I agree, but on anice interpersonal basis, and we are
all family and friends, I think it is nice once and a while to go back down
memory lane and review where we have been as a group. Although I see a
number of names on this list that go back to earlier lists including the old
JFW lite list, it is good to see that we have had a number of us who are
obviously older and experienced with the many versions of jaws. think about
it, some of us have been through 2 full versions of jaws for dos and now 12
versions of JFW not including the various upgrades.
so let us memorialize and celebrate our successes as a group in at times an
otherwise lonely world of supports.
that is a lot of neat history for a product that revolutionized our
experience as blind folks trying to compete in a sighted world.
John

I used jaws for dos in the beginning. I don't remember what versions I
used but it was until we went to windows 3.1 and I have used jaws
since.

Hello all.
What was the first version of JAWS you ever used? Mine was JFW version
3.2 on a laptop running Windows 95.
