Mark,

By chance is the window not maximized?

Also in the view menu there's a status bar that needs to be checked. Is it?

Yes, I do know what you are talking about. If I up and down arrow in my
folder list, it does tell me the number of file in each folder.
However, I am talking bout hitting insert num pad 3, while in a folder.
This would tell me how many files I had to delete, before the folder was
empty.

Hi Dave, I don't want to get in the middle, but Does Mark know about ctrl-y
then find the personal folder. Right arrow then enter to open it up. Then
up and down arrow to the different message folders. As you read the folder
the no. of unread messages will be announced.

Mark,

1. You may need to restart Outlook 2007 and JAWS before you get your
previous setup fully functioning again.

2. If that doesn't work, you could try running the following command from
the run dialog after closing Outlook:

outlook.exe /resetnavpane

This resets the navigation panes and has sometimes helped me get Outlook
back to being properly interpreted by JAWS.

3. Failing that, do a system restore back to before you tried changing the
scheme.

Running Jaws 12 with outlook 2007.
I use to hit insert numpad 3 to hear amount of messages in the folder I was
in.
Now it does not work.
All I changed was the scheme. It has been changed back, but insert does not
work.
Any helpful suggestions?
