I just installed a utility called cleanup from the jfw lite home page.
www.jfwlite.com
IT erases the windows temp folder on every startup.

You can also do this with Disk Cleanup. I believe it's in Accessories then
to System Tools. Disk Cleanup deletes temporary Internet files and other
unwanted items.
