normalising mp3's

hello list.
i have a number of mp3 files which i would like to have burned to a cd.
my question is this:
is there a jaws friendly freeware program that i can use to have the level of
the songs in mp3 format normalised so that they all can be burned to disk and
all are at the same volume level?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
