Hello all. Sorry to reply to my own message. But a made a mistake.

The keystroke to use the jaws search is "insert+ control+ f".
The keystroke to find previous searched for text is function key "F3".

Hello Tina.
To see a list of commonly used keystrokes go into jaws help and start
pressing the letter "K" until you land on a book called
"keystrokes book closed".

Now to answer your question the keystroke to search for a string of text is
"insert+ F". To search in a application the normal keystroke is "control+
F"

Subject: new to the list and a quick question

Hi. I am new to the list and don't post much, but thoughght it would be a
good place to get info abought jaws . I had a quick question though. I have
moved recently and have lost my braille reference guide and am now finding
that I can't remember things like how to find a string of text within a
document or how to find the next occurence of that same thing. Can fs send
me a new braille guide or how would I just find this stuff in jaws help?
thanks
