Hi Chris,

Actually, this didn't happen because, when I installed the new spybot, it 
overwrote the old one; 1.4 was already on my system. What you describe did 
happen when I had to install 1.4 from scratch after my computer's hard drive 
was reformatted last January. I had to unload Jaws and use narrator to do the 
install.

Hal and all, have you tried to install Spybot 1.5 with JAWS running? Just 
wondering if this strange issue, where the installer terminates along with 
the Windows bong sound, occurs, even with the latest Spybot installer.
