Well, if it is an integrated graphics card, it is probably made by Intel. Just
to be sure, do the following steps:
1. go to controll pannel.
2. Switch to the clastic view if you haven't already.
3. press the letter D until you hear Jaws say display.
4. press enter.
5. When you get into the display properties dialog, go to the settings tab.
6. press tab and jaws should tell you what of display you are using such as
plug and play monitor on Intel 82865 G Graphics Controller.
7. WhenOnce you have found out this info, just press escape to close the
dialog. Then, press alt F4 to close controll pannel.

Subject: new laptop and jaws trouble.
Hi everyone. I was on this list awhile back, I've since upgraded to jaws
eight, latest updated from April 26. Here's what's going on: if I close my
laptop lid, then open it back up, jaws won't read the system tray, just says no
selected item. If I click on an item like skype, using the letter s it opens.
I've set the laptop to do nothing when I close the lid, I've even turned off
hibernation. Also is anyone else having a problem where jaws will stop reading
the fields of mesages in outlook express? Again I find this when I close the
lid of the laptop. Now for the specs, windows xp home, two gig of ram, 80 gb
hard drive. If anyone can fix this I would be ecstatic.
