There is a network version of JAWS that will do what you want. Information is in JAWS help and on the fs web page. I hope this message won't be considered off topic. The company that I work for is setting up a tech center where people can come to see the latest technology, and to use it. We will have ten work stations set up, each with JFW, MAGIC, zoomtext, openbook, Kurzweil, and a lot more software. To simplify maintenance, I have an idea. Would it possible to install JFW on a application server such as Windows 2003, and have it accessable over the network? I doubt that the standard version of JFW would work, since it modifies the registery, but could perhaps the thumb drive version to install on a drive on the server, and mapped to a drive letter on each work station? In theory, it soulds like it might work, but I am not sure. I hope someone can help with an answer either way. Of course, we would have to install the video intercept on each work station, but having jfw installed on just the server would simplify maintenance, and we could prevent people from changing settings. I hope my question makes sense, if not, I can try to rewrite it so it makes more sense.
