hi. Not in my experience. i have 2 of the AT&T natural voices installed, one male and one female and I have no problems using them. They do take a few seconds to start, but once they do, JAWS runs as normal on this system and I have no problems using them.

Chris,

I can't address Michael's question about Neo Speech, which is new to me, but in my experience of ATT Natural Voices, this generalization about SAPI 5 is too broad. JAWS manipulates Natural Voices poorly.

Hi. Any Sapi 5 speech voices will work with JAWS, the functions of the screenreader aren't a factor at all in this.
But neo speech *should* work just fine.

Hi,

Has anyone tried using neo speech voices with Jaws? Do these sort of speech engines allow you to still use all the normal Jaws functions? I'm really curious and would consider purchasing one of these voices if they do in fact work with Jaws. The speech quality is very clear and very natural. Jaws speech is clear also with its use of Elequence but I don't think it's as clear as it could be. Thanks.

Michael
