my issue with Firefox

I really loved Firefox.  Why loved instead of love, simple.  When I went to:
www.dominos.com
to order Pizza one night, Firefox kept crashing on me every single time I 
went to add my order to their shopping card.  This also happened every 
single time I tried to log on to:
www.amazon.com
and I could get no help at all from tech support what so ever.  The forum 
was worse than useless and no matter what I tried, I just couldn't get it to 
work.  Has anybody else out there had this happen; and, if so, what were you 
able to do to fix it; if it was fixable?

Also, I noticed that JAWS was not reading Firefox dialogs such as security 
alerts such as when you are about to open a secure page ETC.
