Hi,

I'm runing the latest version of jfw and windows 98 se. Not realizing it
wouldn't work, I upgraded from msn messenger 5 to msn messenger 6. It
wouldn't work, so I downgraded back to 5. well, now msn messenger 5 won't
sign in. I get the "There is a ne version of msn messenger" messae and then
it gives me the sign in message that either my user name or pwd don't exist
or the passport service is temperarily down. When I reinstalled msn
messenger 6, the prolem went away, but of course I can't use 6.

Any ideas? I've tried uninstaling and reinstaling 5. I even ran a repair
on internet explorer thinking that maybe msn messenger 6 had corrupted
something.

thanks,
Rick
