Hi Jesse,
I've googled around a bit and I've found the following link for :Dell _Wireless 
(US) WLAN Network Adapter Card, etc":

Just use google and type Dell 1300 drivers to find the above link. It's the 
first one. The compressed file is called R83097.exe, about 11MB. It's for 
Windows 2000 and XP. You better read the whole web information prior to using 
it. If you're using XP, create a System Restore Point prior to installation. If 
your friend is using Windows 98 or ME, google again or contact Dell Technical 
Support.
