Chris, yes, I am currently doing on-air work. As for touch screens, yes most of your systems do use them, however, I worked at a radio station that used Simian, which does not use the touch screen feature. I have heard that you can disable or at least work around it, but I haven't done it yet. I currently record my news casts and then send them in to the station. I work out of my home with my own set up, so I'm blessed in that way, but I have worked in radio long enough to know that jaws can work in it. Bottom line is, you have to be friends with the engineer, and allow you to try things, to see how jaws reacts. Usually if jaws is running off of another sound care,preferably, an external one, you're in good shape.
