[JFW] (jfw) in the subject line

This message is not to criticize the efforts of the list administrator,
rather to assess how others feel about the following.
Wondering how others feel about the (jfw) in the subject line.  I realize
the intent was great, however, usually I decide which messages to read based
on the subject line.  I used to be able to scroll through the subject lines
of messages from this list quickly, now I usually hear jfw twice, and always
must wait to hear (jfw) then the subject.  Admittedly it doesn't take a lot
more time, but it is a lot more verbal garbage that I find annoying  .

Messages that have nothing to do with JFW shouldn't be on the list, period,
and so there should be no such continuing threads of it. Now, obviously, I
can't catch all of them, but if you feel something is off-topic, please do
let me know and I'll certainly take a look at it. I admit I have very
little life, but I still can't see, hear, and know all. *grin*
