Sometimes just pressing the spacebar works.

Thought so. The forms mode is likely due to your being in a web interface.
Have you tried to turn off auto forms mode in the JAWS options dialog?

What E-Mail program are you using? Are you using it via the web?

Hello, all. I'm using jfw 12 and sometimes when I'm composing an email,
Jaws will go into forms mode and put me in the Subject or "bcc" fields. Has
anyone else encountered this and or found a solution to it? Thanks and take
care.
