Hi, with jaws running run the windows media player and play a mp3 or
some such file. If you can here speech and play the music then your
sound card will do what you want. If not then you will need to install a
second sound card.

For some reason, I can't play normalmp3's on my pc. I can play the

wav files, I get windows sounds most of the time. Jaws works fine,

what I can't figure out, why some sounds and not others? My sound card

a duel channel one, so i should be able to use jfw and also to hear

sound files, right? anybody got any suggestions?
