jfw 6 and list boxes on web pages

Hi all! When I try to access list boxes on fanfiction.net, jaws automatically
chooses the first option and launches a new page. I don't seem to have the
ability to browse through my options. Alt down arrow does nothing. How do I fix
this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
