at least part of it can be removed through ad/remove programs, you may have
to kill it from the registry. Did you do a full scan with ad-aware or just
a smart system scan which is its initial default?

wow sounds like you might have spy ware on your machine cause that happened
to me once and we took it in and they told us that our computer was full of
spyy ware and they put addiware on it and it boots up faster and it doesn't
take that long to boot up now.
