jaws/new computer

Through my frustrations, I am tempted to buy a new computer. If I do, are
there any specific reccommendations for it to be compatible with jaws? Are
there any brands that I should steer away from? I have always bought
Gateway and Dell, but I was wondering if others worked out just as well.
If I go the route of reformatting and reinstalling Win XP instead of 98 are
there any concerns related to jaws? Thanks, Joy
