Well, I tried again and this is what happened. Instead of tabbing until I hear change/remove, I stopped where it said the program name and right after it it said remove. Then it found what I want to remove and there was a multi list box and it said to select from this box what I wanted to remove. I tried arrowing down the list to highlight it, I tried using shift down arrow to select it, and I tried just tabbing to the next button without doing anything. In each situation it told me that I needed to select an item. Any suggestions?

On some there are two add/remove buttons for some reason. Make sure of this and try them both.

I tried that, but no such luck. That is why I thought I needed to change some sort of setting. Thanks, Joy

You don't have to select it. Just tab over to the remove button on the item you want to work with and hit the space bar and follow the directions from there.

Subject: jaws/add remove

Hi, I am using windows XP and jaws 6 and I cannot delete an item from the add remove programs in the control panel. In the list of programs jaws says each one is unselected and when I press the space bar to select an item, it still doesn't work. I was wondering if there is some sort of setting within the control panel that I need to change. I have this problem on 2 different computers using different versions of jaws. Thanks, Joy
