When I do that it still says unselected. I have never had trouble with
win
98, so that is why I thought maybe I am doing something wrong.

All you do is tab to you get to the list of programs and then errow down to the one you wish to remove. When you hear the name read to you, thenreaduntil you hear the button you wish to perform. Fyi, jaws does notnothe highlited program because there is no means to highlite it. I meanjustcheck box or anything. What happens when you errow through the programs, which ever one is read for you is highlited with the color, (defalt bluetabhighliting text in a document). This is how the item is highlited. This is why when you hear the program that you wish to remove or etc. thentoto the button you wish to perform and hit enter. This is done because you can only remove or what ever you wish to dojawsonly program at a time in this function.

Hi, I am using windows XP and jaws 6 and I cannot delete an item from the add remove programs in the control panel. In the list of programssettingsays
each one is unselected and when I press the space bar to select an item, it still doesn't work. I was wondering if there is some sort ofcontactwithin
the control panel that I need to change. I have this problem on 2 different
computers using different versions of jaws. Thanks, Joy
