jaws won't read graphics like it used to do.

To give you an example,
When scanning with Norton anti virus, I used to be able to hit the jaws
curser, and it would say so many files scanned out of so many etc. Now when
scanning with Norton, all I hear when I use the jaws curser is graphics 741,
graphed 488 graphic 382 etc. What can I do to get it to tell me how many
files are scanned etc. Same thing happens when I am scanning my disk, or
anything that I want to know how things are doing. How do I fix this.
I am running windows 98 Se and Jaws. 5.10.383.
