It took me receiving a bunch of posts on this topic to stop and spell it out
with Jaws, letter by letter. I remember someone explaining, early on, that
the person has simply reversed the e and the i of the word "seizure." But
now that I actually look at the offending word, the only resemblance it has
to the word "seizure" is a phonetic similarity. As if a foreign speaker of
English was trying to figure out how to spell "seizure" without having ever
read the word. There's got to be an interesting story here.

Anyway, just for safety's sake, the word that means confiscation or a heart
attack is "seizure." Hope that helps, even if indirectly. But does this
mean I can't refer while writing in Word, Outlook Express, or a plain text
editor to the man who was famously, thanks to Shakespeare, assassinated on
the Ides of March? Jaws is littered with these phonetic and spelling
minefields, like a Vietnamese rice paddy or a Bosnian field. Sure keeps
things interesting.

I feel that if anyone else writes that word they should put on the removal
list because they apparently aren't mature enough and have no empathy for
anyone else.
