David:

Here we go. I will tell you what pops up as I am doing it.

I'm on the automatically start jaws... button and I will press space bar.

Next I get start jaws after log on for this user: combobox and its set at
using the all user settings and the other option is never. I tab again and
it says ok button.

Hello there;

Go into the options/basics/atomatically start jaws..

And make sure that,

Start JAWS Options

Start JAWS at the Logon screen check box checked,

Start JAWS after logon for all users checkbox checked,

Start JAWS after logon for this user: Always

When checked, JAWS will be loaded at the logon screen.

Subject: jaws not starting after log in

Hi,

Here at work I have been puzzled about an issue but never felt the reason to
post this because it wasn't a big deal. However, now my curiosity has peeked
and I must ask.

On this windows 7 pro desktop, after logging into windows jaws does not
speak. It speaks at the log on screen but not after signing in.

I stated earlier that it wasn't a big deal because all I did was press J and
pressed enter and my jaws would start or the hotkey I asigned to it.

I went into the start up wizard and on the second window where it asks start
jaws after log on for this user combo box and the choices such as: always,
never and using the all user settings, well always isn't there and the only
options are never and using the all user settings. I also noticed that the
check boxes before the combo box isn't there neither. Start jaws at the log
on screen and start jaws after log on for all users. Can someone educate me
on this?

Thankyou!
