Hi Lister,
I have had the same problem sometimes. What to do, unload jaws using inset and
f-4 keys. Log on to a web site you know real well without jaws, then reload
it. Dave Hutchins

  Subject: jaws going to sleep

Hey guys, I've encountered a problem with jaws in the last week or so.
Whenever I leave my computer for 5 minutes or more and come back to it, jaws is
silent. I'll type a couple of commands, and sometimes it comes back and
sometimes not, and I have to reboot to get it working again. There are no
"stand by" or "hibernation" settings on, and the computer is alive and well,
because I hear other processes working such as the sound telling me that email
has come in. My son, who can see, checked it out while jaws was out and said
that everything was working fine. So, can any one tell me what's going on with
my friend jaws? Should I do a repair?
As always, I'm very grateful for any help.
  Thank you.

  Tony Santiago
