Thanks, I don't know why some people just like to treat fellow listers so rudely. If you don't want to help, don't respond but this is not the way to handle the issue. I appreciate someone for speaking up. Hina. She specified which version of Word she was using, showing she understood Word was involved. Then, as listers are always demanding, she stated the version of JAWS she is using. Moreover, if she was speculating that JAWS and MS Word sometimes interact in ways that make Word operate differently from the way sighted users experience it, she had good reason. Just recall how the adjust JAWS options dialog and the configuration manager can be used to affect the ways we work with various applications. If she hadn't recognized the possibility of a link between Word and JAWS, someone was bound to have told her that her question was off-topic. In that case, much of what is discussed on this list would be off-topic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of The Elf Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2011 3:33 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: jaws and word tables its the same for anyone, jaws version does not matter, please get used to this! you need to know how to insert a column in word by keyboard shortcuts, not with jaws 12 and the other person gave you that. elf Moderator, Blind Access Help Owner: Alacorn Computer Enterprises Specialists in customized computers and peripherals - own the might and majesty of a Alacorn! www.alacorncomputer.com<http://www.alacorncomputer.com> proprietor, The Grab Bag, for blind computer users and programmers http://grabbag.alacorncomputer.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Farfar Carlson To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2011 8:23 AM Subject: Re: jaws and word tables No, I have no idea how to do it with JAWS.
