its the same for anyone, jaws version does not matter, please get used to this!
you need to know how to insert a column in word by keyboard shortcuts, not with
jaws 12
and the other person gave you that.

No, I have no idea how to do it with JAWS. But using MS-Word I press Alt+a,
then i, then r to insert a column to the right.
