Windows xp is slower to load than 9x. Jaws takes a while to come up but if
you follow the assistance provided in jaws help it should be faster. Also,
there are some services that turning off may help with jaws performance. If
you go to help in jaws and do a search on xp, you should find the set up
instructions.
