Hi Lisa-Maree,

I'm looking into how to help you resolve this. I know that with Jaws 6.0, you
can go to programs, accessories, /jaws 60. Within that Jaws folder, there is a
submenu called Jaws video intercept manager. I'm going to see just how you
should go about getting things to work together. You may have to shut off the
video intercept manager, then run all of the video drivers again, then
reinstall
the video intercept manager. Let me give this a look see and I will get back
with you off list. Jack

Hi Lisa-maree,

Well, you're not stuck. The easy way around this is to uninstall Jaws, then
put
in the video card and all of the video card drivers. Then reinstall jaws
after
the card is completely installed. The other way is a little more work. You
have to turn off the Jaws video intercept manager to install the video
drivers.
I've had to do this on more than one occasion. What version of Jaws are you
running? Jack

Subject: jaws and video intercept error

Hi all,
Okay, last week my fideo card died, so I went and bought myself an upgrade
card,
and they're not exactly cheap. After installing it, and trying to install
jaws,
I am told there is a severe error, and it cannot install video intercept.
The
error is "severe error, DCERR_IDD_MOD_found" I am sure of every word except
tyhe one before found. On trying to load an older version on a backup
drive, I
was given a choice to install video intercept, again with same results.
Maybe this is too logical for those who make jaws, but don't you think it
should
install with all video cards. It didn't occur to me I might have to check
on
what card I bought. I got one to suit me and my kids who like to play
games.

Okay, enough whining. Have any fixes come out from anywhere for this yet?
Am I
stuck or is there a way to solve this. And is it different for specific
cards>

Thanks in advance.
