What model display do you have?
I don't understand what you mean by 'the lines are too close'.
My ALVA Satellite Pro 584 has only one line.

Hey Members,
I recently purchased an alva satellite pro braille display. For some reason,
when I go to read text, the braille appears kind of jumbled to me. I can barely
make sense of what I'm reading and the lines are too close. Any suggestions as
to how I can set up the braillle display to read properly, without the lines
being jumbled? I finally upgraded to jfw 6.20. Thanks.
