jaws and power point

Hi!
I have been trying to read some power point files with little success
this evening. It seems I've got one of those senile moments I can't
remember anything. I am trying to put the files in a Ms. format so I can
read them easier. 
Any help of how to do this with jaws would be much appreciated.

I am using Jaws 6.2, office 2002 and Windows XP.
