Okay,
I now have OpenOffice installed. My quick look at OOO Writer seems to
be okay. The menus work and when I type and then move around with the
arrow keys JAWS reads back what I expect.
Do you have the Java Access Bridge installed? My understanding is
that it is required in order to use java based applications like OOO.
You can download version 2.0.1 from
https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_Developer-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProductDetail-Start?ProductRef=accessbridge-2.0.1-oth-JPR@CDS-CDS_Developer
Click the I Agree check box and then the Continue button. the
download link is somewhat hidden in a table, you want the
"accessbridge-2_0_1.exe " file
| Access file.
