John I'm glad you're finally understanding the distribution system. But at
this point, I gotta ask you, did the kid have any cold pizzas in his back seat
that you could've gotten off him free and just warmed up while you cracked a
cold one or poured yourself a nice glass of red wine so you could celebrate
your Jaws delivery?

Speaking of which, I still ain't got no Jaws CDs yet. Hmmm. I think this
happened to me with version 7, too, and I just got on the horn to them and
made them send me another. Might have to do that Monday. And a coupon for a
free pizza, too.

That explains why I got mine a few days after everyone else. I live about two
hours north of orlando and the dominos kid must have missed the exit and I
received mine on his way back to Ft. Lauderdale.

Take care,

John

John,

Well, shows how much you know. They stopped using the carrier pigeons four
years ago after a big protest by an animal rights group that wanted to organize
and unionize the birds. Then they switched to a fleet of ancient Indian
motorcycles bought at a government auction and put big saddlebags on them. But
when they couldn't get any more replacement parts for the Indians, they
recruited college students and slackers of various ages from the Domino's and
round Table pizza places in Fort Lauderdale, and they make them use their own
cars and pay half the gas. So when your delivery driver finally brings your
CDs, give them a good tip and direct them to the nearest Motel 6.

And to think I thought they were still using carrier pigeons.

yes. They deliver the CDs by car, and sometimes they have breakdowns on the
road between Florida and where you live, and can't get parts for the car for a
few days. It takes even longer to get to Michigan. But FS did a study and
determined that sending out a fleet of pizza delivery drivers would be better
than using the Postal Service. Go figure.
