hello there; as long as you didn't remove shared components when you did the jaws10 uninstall, go to desktop, press the letter j, assuming there's only one version of jaws on your computer, and press enter. once you get speech, then you can tell jaws, from options/basics, to run jaws at startup, and also, you will be able to create a hot key. or, you could, windows-key+r=run dialog, type in; jaws12 then press enter. hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: john R. You can do this by holding down the windows key and pressing letter R to get to the run dialogue box. In this box type jaws12 with no spaces and press enter. this should load jaws. Now when jaws 12 is running, go to the jaws inner face with insert key plus letter J to open the jaws program and in the menue system, go in and check the check box to have jaws start automatically. You might want to also set up a hot key to load Jaws 12. If you need help with this, let the list know.good luck.
