I have hearing loss and Eloquence works for me, I can't understand DecTalk
very well, sounds like he is a bit drunk to me.

I only write this to prove that it is all subjective, I personally feel we
should all use what we feel comfortable with. I for example seldom if ever
use the Real Speak voices, I have used them because FS said they were more
human sounding but I don't care a lot for them, I understand them, just
prefer to use Eloquence which is faster and more responsive.

That said, you all can use whatever works for you.

Hi,
There is nothing wrong with Eloquence unless one happens toacquire some
form of hearing loss.
Access 32 has worked great and for those who need better clarity and
intonation,
it is excellent.
I have had close friends with hearing loss who desperately need something
of the quality of Access 32.
If hearing loss adds to disability, then we should have access to what
helps people.
Again Eloquence is fine for many.
If one works with nnumber sall day long, Access 32 makes life a whole lot
easier.
