java access and illuminous

The University where I am a PhD student has introduced a new online teaching
tool called aluminous. This can be viewed/demoed at vclass.unb.ca. My
question is as follows, what do I need to do to use java, or to make it
accessable with jaws 6?
Or, where can I find documentation on this.
