yeah it's impossible, or nearly so to give your ILM license to someone else.
and FS would not like it I am sure. Here's the deal as I know it. If you have JAWS 6.1 on your laptop, you can install 6.2 on it just fine. 6.2 is in fact a full version, not a patch. If it was a patch, FS will *specifically say so. They'll call it something like JAWS For Windows 6.2 Update Patch.
But this is just JAWS 6.2, which means it's a full version. Again folks, read the Freedom Scientific website very carefully and we'll all have our questions answered. They're very specific about the information they give. I know it's human nature to jump right in and just download it and ask questions later, but if you educate yourself before you download, you'll be ahead when you start and you'll know what you're getting.

Not sure but I think it is both impossible and illegal to loan my ILM license.

Yes, you can use your 6.2 vertion directly. I'm using a quella authorization. How can I have an ILM license. Can you let me barrow yours?

Friends: Is Jaws 62 a full version or a patch? My real question is can I go direct from jaws 50 to jaws 62 on my Windows ME laptop? I have jaws 61 on my XP desktop, so I should have 2 more ILM authorizations.

Thanks in advance.

Stan
