Hi. Check your connection setings. 

Since we have no idea what system you're running I can't offer any other
suggestions. You may have something set to connect whenever a connection is
not present. If you do, uncheck it and you should be fine.

Dear Sir/Madam

Can you help me?  When I go onto my laptop and go onto three and half floppy
it tries to connect to the  internet provider  which is btow, it also tries
to connect   to the internet when I try to go into my documents.  I wondered
if it was a Jaws problem because I am using a old version of Jaws or could
it be a virus? If any one can help me I would be most grateful for their
time.
