I'm trying to locate the short cut key to turn off flash on a web page.
I have version 8 and it seems like the hot key is not available any more.
I need some guidance how to utilize the help so I'm not frustrated looking
for a short cut key combinition.
Thanks for any help.

Steve

I had a look at the "Notification area Hide inactive icons" checkbox and it
is not checked.

I think for sighted users there is a cross or something on which they click
to show the full list of items of the system tray.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

R

Renette,

Try opening the Start menu, going into the Settings submenu and choosing
TaskBar and Start menu. This will open a dialogue; Tab to the "Notification
area Hide inactive icons" checkbox and make sure it's not checked.

Subject: accessing hidden items in system tray with Jaws

Hi All

If there are too many icons in the system tray, then this collapses
and some icons are not visible there any more, they are only back
when one clicks on an arrow to show all the icons again. I have,
however, no idea how to use this with JAWS.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Renette
