If you have a DVD Burner, and if you have a CD Burning program, like Roxio's Easy DVD Creator, or Ahead's Nero Burning ROM... you can take that .avi file, and convert it to the DVD format, which is .vob and have it burn to a DVD disk. That will work in DVD players.
