gold wave

Hi All.
Last night I downloaded the trial version of gold wave editor.. I installed
it and found it good so proceeded to buy. Then at some point, every time I
have gold wave running, jaws would not read menus. It is as if you press
insert s to the none setting. I can still press insert up to know where I
am. Also Jaws cursor can still read the screen.
I have both Jaws 5 and 5 point 1. The same problem happens in both
versions, only, with version 5, when I start gold wave, I hear 2 dings from
the computer speakers as the program is starting where as I do not hear any
dings when I have jaws version 5 point 1 running.
This is my setup.
Dell DIMENSION 8300.
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz.
512 MB of RAM.
Windows XP home SP2..
soundcard: Creative Odegy2
Display adapter: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
I'm using Jaws with eloquence and have downloaded the scripts for gold wave
from jfwlite but when I press insert q to find out what scrip is loaded, it
says default. Gold wave version is 5 point 8.
