How do you get to message that are hidden in group by confirsation?

If you group message by conversation, go to view, and uncheck group
message
by conversation and then go back to the folder and you will see the

I am using Jaws 7 and 8, XP, and outlook Express 6. When I arrow to my
different mail lists for example in box. jaws will say in some of the
boxes
one message or 2 messages when there isn't any. This has been going on for
a
few months. Any suggestions on why or how to fix this are welcomed.
