Mark,

Try going to your task bar and start menu properties. If using the classic
start menu it will be in the settings sub menu. if using the xp start menu
first open control panel to get to task bar and start menu and enter. In the
task bar settings uncheck group similar task bar buttons and hide inactive
icons.

Gary

Sorry David. Hitting the space bar puts me in the system menu. SIGH

My xp home is fine not xp pro. That should not make a difference should it?
Yes, I'm using jaws pro version.

Ed,

Hit space, not enter.

When I go to the system tray via insert + f11 and then tab over to do a
right click, every time when I hit enter, I'm put into the desktop
properties.

How do I fix this?
This occurs in jaws 4.5 to the newest release. Running xp pro. I have
already changed the display settings with no luck.

All help is appreciated as this is the easiest way to turn off Norton
