JoAnne,

As I wondered last night, has she changed her display settings? ARe they set
according to F.S. recommendations? This seems to be the main culprit in
problems such as this. The other question is whether she has changed anything
under Windows Messenger such as not using windows color schemes, or if she has
inadvertently changed the font under personal options of the preferences
section. There is a fonts button, it should be on MS San Seriff 12-point, as
the default. Some other fonts work, many do not.

WinDoctor shouldn't affect the use of Windows Messenger.

Subject: friend cannot read her windows messenger window

A friend of mine has jaws 4.51 and while Jaws reads other applications to
her, it doesn't read her windows messenger window. In other words, I
believe it speaks as she's typing to someone but that person's reply is not
being read back to her by Jaws. Even after doing a norton win doctor scan
and re-booting, Jaws will not tell her what the message-sender has written.
Can you help?

Joanne
