Angie's right. It's a matter of page coding. If input fields aren't labeled correctly, there's nothing for Jaws to "see." The solution lies with the Web page developers of that site. have to be la ----- From: "Angie" <mawmaw23@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 19, 2006 6:46 AM Subject: RE: forms mode Hi Tom, I have the same problem too sometimes. I do not think it is a Jaws problem though, I think it is more of a web page setup problem. It is a pain in the butt to keep turning forms mode on and off but, at least the form can be filled out. Sometimes when tabbing down through a form the title of the field is not given, Jaws will just say edit. Sometimes I can turn off forms mode and arrow the cursor over the field and the title of the field will be read, at other times I just have to guess what they want in the field. If anyone has had this problem and has a way to identify such fields I would sure be grateful to hear it.
