Angie's right. It's a matter of page coding. If input fields aren't
labeled correctly, there's nothing for Jaws to "see." The solution lies
with the Web page developers of that site.

I have the same problem too sometimes. I do not think it is a Jaws problem
though, I think it is more of a web page setup problem. It is a pain in the
butt to keep turning forms mode on and off but, at least the form can be
filled out.

I have a problem that annoys me at times when filling out an order form on
the Web.
Sometimes when tabbing down through a form the title of the field is not
given, Jaws will just say edit. Sometimes I can turn off forms mode and
arrow the cursor over the field and the title of the field will be read, at
other times I just have to guess what they want in the field.
If anyone has had this problem and has a way to identify such fields I would
sure be grateful to hear it.
