I've found that when in forms mode, pressing Enter activates the Send or Go
button most of the time. For example, at Yahoo, I'll enter a string in the
search engine forms field and immediately press Enter which activates the
Search button. I don't have to Tab down to the Search button and then press
Enter.

No, Judith. Pressing Enter turns *on* forms mode when you're in an area
with input field. It doesn't turn it *off,* so far as I've ever known. I
meant, when you press enter on a control that terminates your forms session
(like the button that may say Send, for instance), that turns it off. But
it's not simply about pressing enter. See what I'm saying?

Pressing the enter button turns off forms mode. The reason I was wondering
was that I was having a difficult time going from one edit field to another
on a particular form and was so messed up that I didn't know where I was.
Now that I know of insert f1 I wont have to wonder anymore. Judith
