Firefox does work well with Amazon.com.  I actually have made it my default
browser.  I like the ability to use the tabs to navigate my documents and it
seems to offer a bit more control of my browsing.  Popups are gone without a
third party program and the password and security features are wonderful.
 
If you haven't given firefox a try, I highly recommend it.
