Subject: file associations using Word 2007
All:
Maybe I am jjust clinging to old habbits, but I would like to set up my
computer so that when I click or press enter on a .txt file
it will open up in Microsoft Word 2007as It always could be done in earlier
versions of Word. But I can't seem to do this. When I
choose browse from the open with menu in Windows xp and browse down the tree to
MicrosoftOffice\office 12\winword.exe and press
open, I get no error message, but neither does it work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter
