To extract a song(s) from a CD to the hard drive using Easy CD Creator 5:

1. Select Easy CD Creator from the "applications" menu.

2. The first thing to do is press alt F and enter on new CD project.
Then enter on Music CD on the menu. Then place your source cd in your
drive.

3. If you have the on line data base enabled in options, it will bring up a
list view with the titles of the tracks.

4. If you wish to extract all the tracks from the CD, press control A.
Otherwise select the tracks you want to extract.

5. Then press the windows application key and enter on convert to audio
file.

6. This will bring up a save as type dialog for you. Leave the file names
to Generate File Names Automatically. You can also tab and choose a folder
where you wish to save the files you are extracting.

7. Tab and hit enter on save and the tracks will be extracted. Now, you can
burn a Cd with the tracks of your choice from other CD's. hth.
