easy cd creator 5.0 and using multiple cds

Hello: I am using Easy cd creator 5.0  and on this machine jaws 4.2.  Can
someone tell me how to make a music cod using tracks from different cds?
It seems that when I do it, have the time it doesn't work.  What I do is to
select make a music cd, select the track for that cd with control+TO then
insert another cd and do the same, then I go to record, Should I be doing
something different?  Half the time my machine says "illegal program
operation."  John Fioravanti
